Tom Brady Returns To Foxborough As A Voice, Not A Legend

Tom Brady is back at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, but not as a player. He calls the game while the MIAA loses its long-time home.

Fans are calling A.J. Brown “washed” after he missed another practice session. Yahoo Sports reported the wide receiver was added to the injury report on Wednesday with a knee ailment. He sat out Thursday’s practice with the New England Patriots. This is not the first time his health has been a major worry this season.

Brown has missed four games already due to injury. He was activated on Oct. 17 and played in the last two contests. But his production remains low. With only three games played, the receiver who has made the Pro Bowl three times secured nine receptions totaling 101 yards without scoring a touchdown. The high ankle sprain he suffered in the season opener against the Seattle Seahawks cost him a month of football. A knee issue has raised concern for the team.

Fans Call Him “Made of Glass”

People are saying the trade from Philadelphia was a mistake. According to Yahoo Sports, New England acquired him from the Eagles in exchange for a fifth-round pick in 2027 and a first-round pick in 2028. That deal looked like a win for the Patriots on paper. Now, the physical toll seems to be catching up to him. Some fans are even claiming “He Is Made of Glass,” according to the headlines surfacing on Yahoo Sports.

Some observers are questioning the player’s value. The phrase “Eagles Fleeced Patriots” is trending online. It suggests New England got the short end of the stick. The team expected a star who could carry the offense. Instead, they have a player who cannot stay on the field. Nine catches in three games is not enough to justify a first-round pick in the trade.

Coach Downing Still Has Faith

Despite the noise, the coaching staff is trying to stay calm. WR coach Todd Downing spoke to the media on Thursday. He said he still has faith in the wide receiver. Downing acknowledged the disappointing performance but refused to give up on Brown. The team needs him to step up before they face the Miami Dolphins. The next game is set for Sunday, 4:25 PM ET, at Hard Rock Stadium.

They need a win after losing to the Chicago Bears last week. The final score was 30-24, which ended a three-game winning streak. The Patriots cannot afford another loss with their playoff hopes fading. If Brown stays healthy, they might have a chance. If he is truly “washed,” the season could be over before November ends.
