The Boston Bruins cannot afford a stumble tonight. After a long trip away, the team looks sharp and ready to dominate at TD Garden. They just crushed Nashville 6-0 on Thursday.

The Sharks are coming into Boston on a two-game winning streak. Per Stanley Cup of Chowder, the Sharks beat Ottawa 6-2 on Thursday night. They are playing well enough to make tonight a real battle.

The depth of the Bruins roster

What makes this Bruins squad so dangerous is that they don’t rely on just one star. While David Pastrnak is leading the team with six goals, the scoring is everywhere. Field Level Media reported that seventeen different Bruins have found the back of the net this season.

Michael DiPietro has been incredible in his three starts as the backup to Jeremy Swayman. He even recorded his first career shutout during Thursday’s 6-0 win. As coach Marco Sturm said of the team’s recent performance, “What I liked about most, other than Mikey’s shutout, is that we came out with energy.”

San Jose is finding ways to win

Their goalie, Yaroslav Askarov, just stopped 41 shots to secure a win against Ottawa.

According to Stanley Cup of Chowder, Macklin Celebrini has already tallied 14 points this season. The Bruins defense is currently second in the league, giving up only 2 goals per game, but they must stay sharp against a hungry San Jose offense.
